is wide open below second.
Seven questions a club owner asks, from booking systems to white label apps. Playtomic and MATCHi are named in most answers. Behind them, eight companies sit between 16% and 41%, and their likely ranges overlap. A handful of answers moves a company several places.

Same question, five assistants,
five different shortlists.
The top 10 club software names, counted per engine. A club owner using ChatGPT and one using Google AI Mode are not seeing the same market.
AI names who it reads about.
Some vendors write the reading.
For player questions, the most cited source is the App Store, then UK padel guides. For club questions, the vendors' own websites appear in the top 10 sources: 1club.ai in 15 answers, doinsport.com in 13, xepos.co.uk in 10, bookandgo.app in 9. Every one of those companies is in the club software table. Publishing the pages AI reads is not a guarantee of being named, but it is the part a vendor controls.
AI answers change.
Do you know where you sit?
Engines re-read the web and change what they say. Eight answers separate #6 from #10 in club software. You can measure where you are, then move it.

This index, run for your company: the questions your buyers ask, your competitors named alongside you, every engine, and the sources it cites. Measured every month, so you see the board move.

See Visibility →BidPadel and Cited are both run by Richard Patey. Some companies in this index bid on BidPadel. No company paid to be in it and none can pay to move in it. Buying anything from either does not change a number on this page. Also see the players index: clubs, shops and racket brands.
Method
How we asked
Each of the 14 questions was asked in two wordings on five engines, one answer each: 138 answers. The location (United Kingdom, English) was set at measurement time, not written into the questions. No question names a brand.
ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity answered through their developer interfaces with web search on. Google AI Mode and Gemini are the answers a logged-out user sees in the consumer product. The two layers can name and cite different things. Answers were collected through DataForSEO.
How names were counted
A model from a different provider than the engine read each answer and listed the brands in the order they appear. A brand counts once per answer. Only names a person checked as apps or software are in the tables; a club that uses an app is left out, but the share is still over all of the table's answers. A brand needs at least three answers to be ranked.
What the figures mean
Share of answers is answers naming the brand out of all answers to that table's questions. The likely range is a 95% Wilson interval: where ranges overlap, the order is too close to call. Named first is the share where it is the first brand named. = marks the same count as the name above. Brands named in fewer than 10 answers are less reliable.
The limits
This is a single snapshot, taken 1 November 2026. AI answers vary by date, location and model, and the next run will differ. Nothing here is a ranking guarantee, and nothing here is a judgement of any product.
