How BidPadel works

Lead your category. Get seen. Attract more clicks.

Put your business at the top of its category, where operators can spot it first and click through to your website. Bids buy prominent placement on BidPadel’s public board. LinkedIn content is an extra bonus.

THE MAIN REASON TO BID

Be the business they see first.

Lead your category and put your business in front of UK padel operators and suppliers. Get prominent placement, stand out from competitors and give people more reason to click through to your website.

Plus, monthly LinkedIn bonuses

WIN YOUR CATEGORY

Your own LinkedIn post

Richard writes an individual post about each qualifying monthly category winner.

WIN THE MAIN BOARD

Your own newsletter edition

The qualifying overall winner gets a dedicated edition of Richard’s LinkedIn newsletter, The Business of Padel.

Win both and earn both. From November, either bonus also requires at least £10 in new bids that month. Placement and content offer exposure; clicks and commercial results are not guaranteed.

Free to list. Bid to move up.

Find your business or request a free listing. Once approved, add £10 or more to your total with each bid or top-up. Amounts must be in whole pounds; they do not need to be multiples of £10. Every payment adds to your all-time total. The highest totals lead the main board and each category; ties favour whoever reached the total first.

Paid £22 already? Add £10 to reach £32. Totals never reset. Bids are one-off payments, not subscriptions, and positions can change as others bid.

Monthly LinkedIn bonuses & badges

Win your category: each qualifying monthly category leader, including Operators, gets an individual LinkedIn post written by Richard about their business.

Win the main board: the qualifying overall monthly leader gets a dedicated edition of Richard’s LinkedIn newsletter, The Business of Padel. A business that wins both earns both bonuses.

When winners are selected

BidPadel starts on 1 October 2026. The first cutoff is midnight ending 31 October, UK time, then the end of every calendar month. Winners are ranked by all-time eligible paid totals. Results are verified after the cutoff; Richard publishes the earned content during the following month.

What qualifies each month

October 2026: For the first month, eligible paid category and overall leaders qualify on their cumulative paid totals, without a separate monthly-spend requirement.

From November 2026: to earn either content bonus, the leader must also make at least £10 in new qualifying paid bids during that calendar month, UK time. Totals still accumulate and never reset. An old leading balance alone does not earn another post or newsletter edition. If a leader does not qualify, that bonus is not awarded to a lower-ranked business.

One month’s win, one month’s bonus

Each qualifying result earns that month’s content only, with no automatic entitlement to future promotion. Future monthly promotions may be changed or discontinued by updating the rules before the affected month begins. Benefits already earned, including earlier paid-distribution commitments, will be honoured.

Monthly Leader badges

Eligible paid category leaders and the overall leader also receive Monthly Leader badges. Badges recognise the saved paid rankings; content bonuses have the additional eligibility conditions above. Download or embed badges from your badge history. They remain after you are outbid while the listing and service operate, unless the listing is removed or qualifying payments are refunded or disputed.

Richard publishes manually and discloses paid promotion. He funds paid LinkedIn distribution at no extra charge to qualifying winners and controls the budget and delivery; no fixed spend per winner, reach, clicks or commercial outcome is promised. A saved result is not confirmation that content has been published.

The viral reach behind the bonus

One of Richard’s LinkedIn posts reached 192,758 impressions and 108 comments. These are individual past results, not typical or promised reach.

Payment eligibility & final results

Only confirmed live, unrefunded and undisputed payments for authorised, published businesses qualify. Ties favour the business that reached its total first, then business name. Categories are recorded at payment. Removed, fraudulent or unauthorised listings and businesses owned by BidPadel’s founder are excluded. Empty categories receive no award.

Final paid ranks are saved at the cutoff and published after verification, with automatic retries for delays. Later bids cannot change them. Eligible paid category leaders and the overall leader earn Monthly Leader badges based on those saved rankings; badges alone do not establish eligibility for the content bonuses.

How free listings are ordered

Supplier categories use curated free listings. After paid placements, the main board rotates through supplier categories’ top three, then their next-ranked businesses, without duplicates. It shows 20 initially; Show more reveals the rest. Free placement is editorial, not an overall quality ranking. Free operators appear after suppliers on the main board and on their category board, ordered by verified open UK locations, with alphabetical ties.

Positions are not reserved during checkout and can change through other bids, refunds or moderation. Bids are one-off payments in £1 increments, starting at £10, not subscriptions.

How Operators fit into the board

The Operators category is for businesses operating at least two open UK padel locations, including indoor, covered and outdoor venues. Overseas and planned sites do not count. Host and partner networks are labelled; location counts do not necessarily imply common ownership or purchasing.

Operators use the same cumulative bids as every other category. Each bid counts towards Operators and All. Free operators appear after suppliers on the main board and on the Operators board, ranked by verified open UK location count, highest first, with alphabetical ties. Operators with a positive confirmed paid total move into the paid rankings on the main board. Operator details show their network and website for enquiries. Positions buy visibility, not guaranteed partnerships, investment or bookings. Individual clubs do not bid separately.

Open rules. Independent board.

You must be authorised to promote the business. Paid totals update after Stripe confirms payment; new listings require approval before bidding, and false or unauthorised submissions may be removed. Payment does not verify ownership. Rankings measure paid visibility, not quality or endorsement; a listing alone implies neither participation nor payment.
