Operator and contact

Richard Patey, trading as BidPadel, is a self-employed operator. Correspondence address: Bishopbrook House, Cathedral Ave, Wells BA5 1FD, United Kingdom. Email: richard@richardpatey.com. These terms apply to BidPadel’s directory, listing submissions and paid promotion.

Who the board is for

Anyone can browse brands, retailers and specialist suppliers. Paid promotion is offered to people acting for their trade or business, aged 18 or over and authorised to promote the selected business. Multisite UK padel operators appear in a separate free directory. They must operate at least two open UK padel locations. Buying a bid does not verify ownership or grant editing access.

Listings and claims

Listings are free. All new submissions are held privately for approval before publication. Once a listing is live, bidding is optional. Provide accurate, lawful information and only submit content or logos you have the right to use. You permit us to display submitted business content to operate and promote the directory. Publicly sourced listings do not imply endorsement or participation. Ownership claims are reviewed separately; contact us to correct information, report impersonation or request removal.

Supplier listings and your own checks

BidPadel is a business directory and paid visibility platform, not a supplier accreditation or vetting service. Supplier descriptions may be drawn from public websites or supplied by businesses. Publication, profile claims, paid positions and promotional badges do not certify business credentials, financial standing, workmanship, completed projects or suitability for a particular project.

Supplier categories include UK and overseas businesses. Inclusion does not confirm that a supplier delivers, installs or provides aftercare in the UK. Before appointing a supplier, confirm its identity, service area, relevant project references, specifications, delivery and installation arrangements, warranties and contract terms directly. Contracts for suppliers’ products or services are between you and the supplier; BidPadel is not a party to them.

Paid supplier placements appear first in descending cumulative bid order; free listings follow in curated order. Neither paid nor free positions are assessments of quality or recommendations. These statements do not limit our responsibility for our own services or any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Operator listings

Operator listings are free and cannot accept bids. The separate Operators directory is ordered by verified open UK location count, highest first, with alphabetical ties. Operators are excluded from supplier rankings, paid category leaders and one-time winner bonuses. Counts exclude planned and overseas venues, and partner networks are identified. New listings require review of multisite eligibility. Publicly sourced details do not establish ownership, partnership availability or central purchasing.

What a paid bid buys

A bid is a one-off payment for increased ranking visibility, a promotional purchase. Every new bid and top-up must be at least £10. Every payment must be a multiple of £10: £10, £20, £30, and so on. Existing paid totals remain unchanged. This restriction applies to each payment, not to the difference between ranked totals. For example, a business with a zero balance can pay £30 to overtake a £25 total. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. The amount payable is shown before payment in Stripe Checkout.

Each confirmed payment adds to the business’s cumulative bid total. Higher totals rank first overall and within categories; ties favour the earlier total. £0 listings follow a curated launch order. There are no daily, weekly or monthly resets. The same cumulative total determines category and overall positions.

Only published listings can start checkout. We add their paid bids automatically after Stripe confirms payment. Passing publication checks does not verify ownership. Confirmation or technical delays can occur. A projected position is not reserved during checkout. Other bids can move you down at any time. We do not guarantee a particular position, number of impressions, clicks, enquiries or sales. Totals remain on the board while the listing and service operate; no fixed advertising duration or permanent service is promised.

One-time winner bonuses

We’re doing this once. One set of category winners. One overall winner. Winners will be announced at the UK Padel Convention on 4 November 2026.

Win your category: each eligible paid category leader, excluding the free Operators directory, gets an individual LinkedIn post written by Richard and a free AI Visibility Pack, delivered by Cited as a Foundation pack.

Win the main board: the overall winner gets an individual LinkedIn post and a dedicated edition of The Business of Padel newsletter. Winning both includes one LinkedIn post, not duplicate posts.

Winners are selected using cumulative eligible paid totals at midnight ending 31 October 2026, UK time. This is the only cutoff for these bonuses. There is no recurring monthly promotion or new monthly-spend requirement. Richard publishes the earned content after the announcement. Benefits already earned will be honoured.

Richard publishes manually and discloses paid promotion. He funds paid LinkedIn distribution at no extra charge to qualifying winners and controls the budget and delivery; no fixed spend per winner, reach, clicks or commercial outcome is promised. A saved result is not confirmation that content has been published.

Review and removal

We may correct, hide or remove false, unlawful, impersonating or otherwise ineligible listings and investigate suspicious payments. We may retain transaction records for accounting and disputes. Removal does not automatically process a refund; contact us for review. We will consider the reason for removal, promotion delivered and applicable rights fairly.

Payment problems, cancellations and refunds

Promotion begins after payment confirmation. Being outbid alone is not grounds for a refund of correctly delivered promotion. For duplicate charges, unauthorised payments, mistakes or a bid that was not credited, email us promptly with the business name and payment reference. Do not send card details. We will investigate and correct the problem or provide an appropriate refund where due.

These paid services are intended for business purchases. Nothing here excludes mandatory consumer rights where they apply, including cancellation and remedies for services not provided as agreed. Contact us to exercise any applicable cancellation right.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the board accurate and available but interruptions and errors may occur. Listings link to independent businesses; their products, services and transactions are their responsibility. Rankings reflect paid promotion, not quality or endorsement. We remain responsible for obligations and liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud and death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes and disputes

We may update these terms for future use and purchases; the terms shown when you pay apply to that purchase. Contact us first about complaints so we can try to resolve them. These terms do not restrict any mandatory rights or access to courts available under applicable law.
